Jesus answered them, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will be done.

Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive."
                                     ~ Matthew 21:21-22, NRSV

There is power in prayer, SonShines!
Let's pledge to put the power within us to work!

Please join me in praying for the people struggling and hurting in Haiti--from those who've lost loved ones, to the doctors on the scene, to the volunteers giving whatever they can, and even to the people far removed that look on this heartache--please pledge to pray with me for each of the many ways God can move in, on, and through this ongoing crisis and the fight to rebuild.

I will be keeping an up to date schedule of prayers pledged; please find a daily time you can petition the Lord on behalf of the many!  Let's fill each day through the end of February with someone lifting the needs, nameless and known, to the capable hands of God.

Your pledge is a commitment to pray each day, at your chosen time.
Overlapping is welcome, but filling the day is the goal!

{from} Soles4Souls: Project Haiti Relief Soles4Souls is mounting a massive response of emergency relief to the victims of Tuesday’s 7.0-magnitude earthquake near Haiti’s capital city of Port-au-Prince. 3 million people are directly affected by the damage. Untold thousands are likely dead, and tens of thousands are injured. Probably hundreds of thousands have lost their homes and most of their possessions.

Staggering Facts
  -An estimated 40,000 - 50,000 dead
- 300,000 homeless
- 40% - 50% of those left are children under 18 years of age

Why shoes are critical People are in immediate need of the most basic necessities, like food, water, AND SHOES. Soles4Souls is working with trusted partners to provide one million pairs of new boots and shoes to help survivors locate others trapped in the rubble and begin the rebuilding process. As you can imagine, the amount of broken glass, twisted metal and raw sewage is staggering. We will rush this protective footwear to them as quickly as possible.

In fact, we are partnering with others to send a shipment of 30 container loads of emergency supplies, including:
New boots and shoes
Tents
Blankets
Duffle Bags
Food & Water

How you can help Please help us meet this urgent need by giving now. Your donation will help survivors in Haiti work in the midst of the rubble to rebuild their lives.
